Where are you? Not that this is why you are having trouble, but if you're 416 / 905 we can talk on the phone to make things easier.

If your setup is correct and you are peaked
right you should find some analog signals on W6
all the time. Another good time to check for analog ku signals is right before the news hour.
SBS-6, R4, T8 usually have news feeds on them in analog.
Also X3 has fulltime analog video on it.

You may also want to check your 921 to make sure all your wiring is in place properly.
There have been some that had the wiring harness
almost off the plug inside the receiver.
You can check this by looking through where the VCII
cage is. If it looks like it is not connected right
you will have a problem getting analog video yet continue to receive DCII video.

You can fix it yourself if this is the case by unplugging the receiver and using a long thin plastic tool to gently push the plug back in place, or send your unit in for repair and be without for a couple of months.
(humm, it's a 921, make that a year without
a receiver the way they are going in their support.!)

Better yet, if you've had an analog receiver hook it back up and slave the 921 to it.
That is what I have finally done since the 921 acts up all to frequently and needs master resets done to it causing several hours of down-time, at least this way you have something to watch.

If I sound peeved it is because I had to do my 4th master reset in 12 months again today. By the time you get it done and get the hit for the digital signals to come on over 7 hours go by.
All this because GI has set the receiver not to receive digital signals until you get a hit.
This should be changed and the receiver should not need to have this done every 3 months!
