Can't get the IPG while watching HDTV with my 922/HDD 200. My hookup is via RGBHV to Sony CRT projector and my HDD 200 is switched to "native".Is it normal that I can see on screen displays while watching HDTV broadcasts or did I connected something wrong? On regular chanels everything is working OK.

Regarding the HDD200 and the IPG:

The DSR920 does not mute the HSI when the IPG or guide is selected. This means the HD data stream continues to be available to the HDD200 and it continues to display an image.

Will this ever be corrected on the DSR920? Yes, when the firmware is released. This may happen sometime between now and the date of total proton decay of the universe, I am told :-)

On the DSR922, this is corrected. The HSI does mute when the guide or other IPG menu's are selected. This means that when you are watching an HD channel and you hit the guide, the HDD200 will blank for a second, select the active analog input (because the HSI is now off) and display the IRD rendered graphics.

On the DSR922 you may additionally connect the SDIF directly to your AV receiver for AC3 encoded signals. You have menu selection of mono, stereo, surround and DD outputs. Please note the DD output mutes the analog and RF modulator audio outputs. The SDIF on the DSR922 also mutes automatically when switching between analog and digital audio channels allowing the autosensor capabilities of advanced AV recievers to operate as intended.
