Sounds like you have only S-vhs hooked up. There is no video
output on analog.

Do you get audio on VC or analog transponders?

One more thing to try is polarity---go to G9/1 and <OPTIONS>-<6>-<4>-<2> and switch #4 to "rotated 90 deg.", see if that does anything.

Do you have a 4dtv dealer near you ?
You could try asking if they could help out.
You could have some lose wiring inside the receiver or something.

Also make sure you have it set up properly for C-band lnb
or C&ku lnb in the set up menus.

Send it off to get repaired if it is still under warranty, I also had one DOA 921 that was doing the exact same thing as yours is.

I'm experiencing similar difficulties. The 4dtv has been in operation less than a week. I had it tuned to W2-9 and left for work. Came home - NADA. Digital channels still work but no analog. I performed a reset but that didn't help. Sigh.

Hi Sam -

I just received my 4dtv last week. It died yesterday with no analog or VCII+ signals. It was working fine before then. The dealer is giving me the runaround and GI has me on infinite hold. Needless to say I'm getting PO'ed. Where and how did you obtain service. My email is duncan@quantumlogic.net if you would prefer that path. Thanks.
Don

The general expectation is that your dealer should swap out the unit if there is a failure in the first 30 days. After that it's off to authorized warranty service or back to GI for repair.
