Diagnostics Screen F

  • This diagnostics screen displays information about the IPG. The UP and DOWN keys, from either the front panel or remote, are used to scroll through banks of demand stream data, national trickle stream data, and regional trickle stream data. When trickle stream data is being displayed, the 5th and 6th columns of line 4 are not displayed. Instead two more lines of schedule data are displayed. Lines 1 through 4 will contain common schedule data, common description data, normal schedule data, and normal description data, respectively. Screen F – Demand Stream Display

Line # Name Definition
Line F1 Rejected Message Size (A) The first 3 columns on this screen comprise a circular buffer of information on messages discarded by the IPG. This is the size (in KBytes) of rejected message "A".

    • Rejected Message Status (A)
The first 3 columns on this screen comprise a circular buffer of information on messages discarded by the IPG. This is the error status code of rejected message "A" (see note 1 below for error code definitions).
Rejected Message Table Extension (A) The first 3 columns on this screen comprise a circular buffer of information on messages discarded by the IPG. This is the IPG Table Extension of rejected message "A".
Schedule Data Block Size Size of the program schedule data blocks in hours.
Schedule Data - Sunday This is a bit field (1 to 8 bits) that indicates which IPG program schedule data blocks for Sunday are present in the IRD. The number of bits in the bit field is determined by the IPG program schedule data block size (# bits = 24/block size). The LSB represents the first time block of the day, the 2nd LSB is for the second time block, etc.
Schedule Data - Monday Same as "Schedule Data – Sunday", but for Monday.
Schedule Data - Tuesday Same as "Schedule Data – Sunday", but for Tuesday.
Schedule Data - Wednesday Same as "Schedule Data – Sunday", but for Wednesday.
Schedule Data - Thursday Same as "Schedule Data – Sunday", but for Thursday.
Schedule Data - Friday Same as "Schedule Data – Sunday", but for Friday.
Schedule Data - Saturday Same as "Schedule Data – Sunday", but for Saturday.
Schedule Data - Yesterday Same as "Schedule Data – Sunday", but for yesterday.
Channel Number This is the channel number the IRD is currently tuned to. This may be blank if the IRD is tuned to the IPG demand stream.

Description Data Block Size Size of the program description data blocks in hours.
Description Data - Sunday This is a bit field (1 to 8 bits) that indicates which IPG program description data blocks for Sunday are present in the IRD. The number of bits in the bit field is determined by the IPG program description data block size (# bits = 24/block size). The LSB represents the first time block of the day, the 2nd LSB is for the second time block, etc.
Description Data - Monday Same as "Description Data – Sunday", but for Monday.

Description Data - Saturday Same as "Description Data – Sunday", but for Saturday.
Description Data - Yesterday Same as "Description Data – Sunday", but for Yesterday.
IPG Status Code This is the status code of the last IPG action. It provides information on the state-wise progress of the IPG (see note 1 below for error code definitions).
Foundation Page Present Boolean indication of whether the Foundation Page is currently present in the IRD or not.
Lookahead Day Count Number of days of IPG data the IRD will attempt to store (memory permitting).
Line F3 Rejected Message Size (C) (Refer to description on Line F1)

    • Rejected Message Status (C)
(Refer to description on Line F1)
Rejected Message Table Extension (C) (Refer to description on Line F1)
Free IPG Memory Amount of DRAM available for IPG data (in KB).
Status Code Age Elapsed time since the IPG Status Code (line 2) changed. Format is HH:MM and is capped at 99:59.
Line F4 Rejected Message Size (D) (Refer to description on Line F1)

    • Rejected Message Status (D)
(Refer to description on Line F1)
Rejected Message Table Extension (D) (Refer to description on Line F1)
Total IPG Memory Total amount of DRAM reserved for IPG data (in KB).
Max Offer Wait Time Maximum amount of time (in seconds) that the IRD waited to be offered a requested page of data (max = 999). This value is reset each time the screen is rendered. This field is not present when trickle IPG data is being displayed.
Max Page Wait Time Maximum amount of time (in seconds) that the IRD waited to receive a requested page of data from the time it was first offered the page (max = 999). This value is reset each time the screen is rendered. This field is not present when trickle IPG data is being displayed.
Time Since Last Flush Elapsed time since the IPG data was last flushed. Format is HH:MM and is capped at 99:59.
Line F5 Rejected Message Size (E) (Refer to description on Line F1)

    • Rejected Message Status (E)
(Refer to description on Line F1)
Rejected Message Table Extension (E) (Refer to description on Line F1)
Requested Page #1 Size Columns 4-11 of lines 5-8 display information for up to four IPG data page requests. This column displays the size (in KB) of the first requested page of IPG data.
Requested Page #1 Status Columns 4-11 of lines 5-8 display information for up to four IPG data page requests. This column displays the status code of the attempt to collect the first requested page of IPG data (see note 1 below for error code definitions).
